The Helix Nebula (NGC 7293) is a lovely planetary nebula in the constellation Aquarius, and is about 655 light-years away. The Helix Nebula has sometimes been referred to as the "Eye of Sauron".

This image is the result of 5x 300 second exposures on each of 5 filters (R,G,B,Ha,O111), taken using the remote controlled telescope (iTelescope.net) T30 at Siding Springs, Australia.

The telescope is a 500mm Planewave F/4.5
